Non USA here, so no best buy. Got a google-tv now with basically nothing on it, heavy firewalling that device off and using only jellyfin. I hate it but…

Really sad. We could even save a good portion of bucks due to all the shit noone needs. I can only imagine the crap pre-installed on Samsung TVs or other of those horrible bloat-brands.

I’d actually prefer a dumb TV, we only use jellyfin anyway and that could be served by some raspy or similar. But they’re extinct it seems. At least modern ones with 4 or 8k.

In defense of ubisoft: you can cheat all and everything and not pay a single cent. But yes it’s disgusting to milk the clueless.

And also yes: it’s a disability-feature that should always be in the options. Never understood why they never are. If someone wants to cheat my game to the max, why should I, as a Dev, care at all…

First: who cares what people say?

Second: depends. If a game is too hard for my old ass, I cheat it easier. Like, a headstart with money or more life in an fps or whatever. It is MY play through, I have to enjoy it. And I’m gaming since the first ever pacman, I got spoiled. Just because a Dev thinks this is great, doesn’t mean I have to. So, if I can change that to MY preferences, yeah sure.

If it’s a second run of a game I might go nuts and testing everything 😏

PS: goes without saying, but only single player. Never ever cheated in multiplayer. Being called a cheater was the greatest honor though 😁

Not familiar with those price-tags, but how should they do this? Detecting your presence at a product and raise price? What if two ppl are standing there? Three?

That is so sad and so us-american… You’re not a civilized society anymore but existing only to please your capitalist owners. To them, you don’t need art, philosophy or anything else that isn’t directly applicable to capitalist interests.

The poor should not waste themselves on “useless” knowledge. You should only waste yourself in money-making capitalist mines like boring offices. At least those with enough cash can still enjoy the finer arts. Or any of the financially less advantageous degrees.
