Lopez-Gomez was reportedly released Thursday evening after protestors gathered outside of the Leon County jail, where he was being held.

In good news, they were released after public backlash and protest. Protesting can work, boycotts can work, and so on. Don’t let anyone think we can’t act because we the people can

They want to take our rights, but we are not powerless to stop them. Fight back!

Pressure certainly helps, but let’s not kid ourselves. He was released because he’s a whole ass US Citizen with no asterisks near his name. The admin doesn’t want that smoke - yet.

everything is both a test run and the real deal. it’s a classic russian strategy to both do the torture and to do so much different torture that no one is powerful enough to stop all of it

Yes! If they didn’t work, we wouldn’t have such coordinated negative messaging about how they DON’T work and are a waste of time. If conservatives didn’t think boycotts and protests were effective they wouldn’t be working so hard to make them illegal.
