A general strike would be nice if it went with a political gathering. Striking the current system while trying to rebuild or reclaim what’s worth keeping. A general strike without a cohesive demand and plan for the future is going to be wasted.

I’m a fan of Wages, Hours, and Conditions ; Nothing about us without us ; and Once We Become The State We Must Refit Justice and Penality lest we become fascist in act.

I’m more focused on the demands. I just want constitutional law, social safety nets, strong sense of civil duty amongst voters. I want the promise they force fed me in schools during the 1990s.
Hopefully enough of us remember how things work when it’s time to rebuild. Glad you’re out there too. We’ll move through this and it will be a great chapter in the history books.
