    I keep my FB and Insta accounts only because so many of my friends still use them. Someday I hope they’ll see the light, too.

      if you are not available on fb and insta, but on some fediverse alternative instead, don’t you think they will find the light a bit faster?

        Exactly. My FB profile only still exists as a way to direct people to Signal. Messages on Meta, if I ever even see them, are ignored.
