    He campaigned on peace, he owes it to his voters, regardless how his international reception is.

    I realize he doesn’t work that way, I’m saying this to highlight the contrast.

      He encouraged his supporters to be violent

      He told them that their hatred was not merely justified, but righteous

      I have no idea where you’re getting the idea that he was ever interested in peace

      His “no new wars” was one of his many transparent lies

        No need to convince me, it’s not like I believed him. I’m looking over the pond horrified, and kind of gave up on the US with his first election. I’m just saying technically he owes it to his voters because that’s what he promised them.

        And being a liar, he keeps telling his base he’s ended “8 plus” wars because they’re not going to bother fact checking that all were wars, that he had an actual role, and that they’re actually ended.
