“Not political” indicates that they think of some people and some ways of life as political and others as just normal. And you know who will be classed as normal while everyone else is being needlessly political. “Not political” just means “Can you all just settle down and stop complaining and let a man enjoy his privilege in peace?”
I’ve NEVER met a person who was “not political” but also not a raging conservative/tea-party/maga/fundie
