I made a video on my YT channel this week about google alternatives, and found a site called Marginalia Search, based in Sweden, that focuses on non-commercial content. That choice in this digital ecosystem means you get a lot of weird, old, and interesting stuff when you use it.

I’ve actually used this a bit. I keep it bookmarked, mostly for cross referencing. It’s nice to see a search engine exists that isn’t explicitly driven by Google and/or paid promotion.

I only recently found it when I was researching my video, but yeah, I really enjoy it. Sometimes when I’m ideating for my journaling or video ideas I’ll use the ‘Explore’ page and browse a bit. There’s just so much interesting and unconventional content out there.
