President Donald Trump was evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner after multiple gunshots were heard in the ballroom.
One officer was shot, but he was “saved by the fact that he was wearing obviously a very good bulletproof vest,” Trump later told reporters at the White House.
The suspected shooter was identified later Saturday as Cole Allen of Torrance, California, a former senior law enforcement official briefed on the matter told MS NOW.
I’m betting this was all staged. Either that or Iran is trying to get him.

There’s a middle ground: NSA/Palantir identify a nearly harmless threat that a dude is googling what hotel it’s at and buys a 22 handgun with no firearm experience. If you’re Trump, do you arrest him at the airport or let him make a scene?
Depends; do you, the one who discovered this, like Trump? Maybe they just let things happen cuz they want him dead, too. It’s just as plausible and has the same evidence of “I just thought of it.”
