The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday temporarily blocked a federal judge’s order that directed President Donald Trump to return control of National Guard troops to California after he deployed them there following protests in Los Angeles over immigration raids.

The court said it would hold a hearing on the matter on Tuesday. The ruling came only hours after a federal judge’s order was to take effect at noon Friday.

Where’s the comment that said this would exactly happen? And how convenient; it gives him weekend access to killing as many people as possible. But don’t suggest defending yourself or actually doing something; you’ll be automodded (which in turn this comment will be automodded as I dare say anything negative about it)

Appeals courts need time to review, so this isn’t them saying the lower ruling was wrong, they just actuthave to review as a panel and draft a ruling. This is a standard delay tactic, and Tramp’s team knows how to play this system for the weekends.
