In Dishonored 2 you can reject the Outsider entirely and do a zero powers run. That one is fittingly called “Only flesh and steel”.

I mean, it really isn’t though. You can totally play it that way, yeah, but that’s only one option. The story reacts to how you play and the decisions you make. I find the low chaos (less or non-lethal) ending to be my favorite. Also canonically Corvo isn’t a raving lunatic murderer, so if you’re looking for the “True” story experience that’s the way to go. He still kills some people, notably the Lord Regent, but spares others.

Novels

Dishonored: The Corroded Man
This takes place about a year before Dishonored 2, and POV characters include Emily and Corvo. I really liked this one. Especially how it expanded on the relationship between Corvo and Emily. Some neat character insights too. Emily is canonically a beefcake.

Dishonored: The Return of Daud
This one follows Daud during the events of Dishonored 2 as he looks for the Twin-bladed Knife. Really cool concept that is once again brought down by Daud and his Daud-ness. “Woe is me, I killed the empress! Who can I push this blame upon to heal the hole in my black heart?!”. I’m making my way through though. It does show a bit more of Gristol that is outside of Dunwall.

Dishonored: The Veiled Terror
I haven’t gotten here yet. It follows Billy Lurk after Death of the Outsider, and how she deals with the consequences of the ending of that game.

Dishonored is my favorite video game series of all time! I play that thing every year, lol. Love the stealth challenges and all the ways you can approach things. I really enjoy the sequels too, and this year I’ve finally gotten into the books. Fantastic game. Also they leaned heavy into the style, so 13 years later it still looks decent. Not nearly as aged-looking as “realistic” graphics from that time. Those still look decent too, all things considered. But stylized graphics tend to fit their current limitations better than pushing for realism.

Could I interest you in a Micropachycephalosaurus? It’s like a Pachycephalosaurus, but fun sized!

The Tyrrell has some fantastic displays! Their Tyrannosaur section really makes you empathize with the Jurassic Park lawyer. Black Beauty is particularly magnificent. I highly recommend the town of Drumheller as well. Lots of wacky dino statues around town. They lean heavily into the motif.

There is a company called Stego Industries that has a Stegosaurus as their logo. Sounds cool, right? Wrong! They are awful. They make plastic liners that go below concrete slabs, so under the whole building. STEGOSAURUS MEANS ROOF LIZARD!!! The only construction product worthy of the Stego name should be shingles >:[

Heck yeah! Borealopelta in the house!!! Have you seen this in person? I was thoroughly intimidated! It was like looking at a dragon or something. So cool!

I have a few.

By far the frontrunner is Parasaurolophus. Hadrosaurs are cool, Lambeosaurid Hadrosaurs are cooler. Not to besmirch my boy Edmontosaurus tho. The biggest Hadrosaur is also on my list.

I am also a big fan of the Borealopelta. This is a Nodosaurid Ankylosaur, meaning it has shoulder spikes instead of a tail club. I like this guy because of the story of its discovery, as well as the fantastic display at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Also helps that it’s the most intact armored dino ever found.

Finally there is the Regaliceratops. Like a Triceratops, but with a super fun crown!

I didn’t mean that those were the only arguments I saw. There are plenty of reasons to hate anything, and it’s not practical to list them all when talking about one in particular. I’m sorry I didn’t touch on your specific issue, but until this morning I didn’t know you existed.

That’s a super fun argument to shut down any opposition.

I’m not disagreeing with that issue. Unfortunately any place that is both online and allows children will inevitably attract pedophiles. Heck, even places that don’t specifically cater to kids can have that. I’m not saying that Roblox can’t be doing more, but I don’t know enough about what they are currently doing.

My “let people enjoy things” argument was because most “Roblox bad” discussions I see are because it’s a game who’s player base is younger people/kids. And kid gamers can be annoying, lol. The same complaints were happening when Fortnight was on the rise.

I will vouch for Speed Racer. Don’t get me wrong, it’s corny as heck, but still also rad. The race scenes are fantastic! Kind of like a Godzilla movie though, you’re not there for the dialogue.
