Daggerfall is my favorite Elder Scrolls game and what the community has done for it is amazing. A lot of people hate the dungeon design but honestly its my favorite part. I love how mazelike they are and I have become very good at navigating them. The immersion is good too if you can wrap your head around it. Most quests having a deadline really makes you question whether or not you can fit that 8 hour rest in. Caught a disease from a rat? You wont know it until later when you start feeling too sick to travel. Cursed with lycanthropy? Better get out of town when the full moon hits. I wish they had stuck to this formula for elder scrolls games but as others in the fanbase have pointed out, these mechanics have been thrown out in favor of attracting a broader audience which sucks but I understand

Idk if this is really “rebellious” but I asked my dad if I could hang out with a cousin at like 11pm. He was half asleep and agreed so I left. We partied by a lake until like 3am on a school night and my cousin was so drunk he was on all fours trying to eat grass when the cops got us because he thought it would hide the scent of booze. I didnt drink a whole lot because I was playing guitar with a girl I was looking to hookup with so the cop let me call my dad on account that I was able to remember my SSN (weird for a cop to ask that I know) and my dad just asked me if I told the cop if I’d had anything to drink and I said “no” and he said “good, dont ever tell them you did anything.”

I got a 2 liter pepsi bottle and filled it with a bunch of crazy shit to try and make a potion. Things like toothpaste and ketchup and a bunch of other horrible stuff. Seeing it coagulate inside like some sort of homunculus made me think I was really onto something
