The only thing I ever had were food moths, after leaving an open container of flour out and putting it away after a day. It was pretty disgusting having their larvae crawling around, but luckily there are parasitic wasps you can order that kill their eggs (they look like tiny specks of dust, not normal wasps).
Have you considered getting an anteater as a pet?
I doubt it. Inviting to the studio is probably way cheaper - not everyone will do it since people would have to travel, and even when they come, there’s not much cost to a quick tour or whatever.
Consistent periods of shocks and recovery are much better for billionaires than simple steady growth. The latter is better on paper, but it’s also better for everyone else, which means more competition for them. During shocks they can lower everyone elses standards and increase their relative wealth by buying from desperate people.
IMO the big difference is that tools for basic functionality (like trackpad/mouse scrolling, as you mentioned) usually cost something on Mac. I’m not against people earning money with their software, but there are so many small annoyances in MacOS that you need separate tools to fix, and you have to hope that the authors keep updating them.
I mean, it’s a Mac. Is there anything you don’t need dozens of extra tools for?
I’ve recently been going through Persona 4 Golden, and I love Kanji. He’s a rough guy who people assume is a bully (for example, he beat up a biker gang), but he has a heart of gold - for example he crochets dolls for a kid to play with. He’s very interested (and talented) in arts & crafts, but at the beginning he’s ashamed of others looking down on him for that.

I don’t think that’s it, since I also grew up with normal computer mice - my first phone-type touch screen device was probably around 12/13, at which point I already had lots of desktop usage.

For me it’s the opposite, non-natural scrolling feels wrong and unintuitive.
Hm? I really prefer it, it’s the same scrolling as on phones.
Nothing grinds my gears like password interfaces that modify the password. If empty spaces at the beginning/end are an issue, tell the user. Show a note, or at worst a modal. But don’t modify it.
