I’m starting to feel like this is a controversial opinion, but maybe the American people should be the ones holding their own government accountable? Interventionism is the worst way to fix a country and I very much doubt it even could be done for a country like America.

Well, yeah? When Russia rolled in Ukraine had already been at war for 6 years. Ukraine was as prepared as you can be against a surprise invasion. Most of the EU probably doesn’t even entertain the possibility of an invasion. If Russia were to invade the EU not only would the EU not be prepared for it but Russia would also have the advantage in experience.
I’m not saying Russia would conquer the whole of EU but, if they also take Ukraine, I could see them taking the whole eastern Europe.
All the more reason to not do anything about it. Let America implode and their interventionist power also takes a hit.
