Im confused. My point was that the purpose of the scene was exactly to get the child to ask the parent about a heavy topic ( lesbian mothers and IVF). This could very well be the first movie to represent this, im not sure why thats relavent. Childrens media often covers serious topics like, death, mental health, divorce, bullying, diversity, disabilities to name a few. Its litterally designed to make kids ask questions like this. I dont think hed Ignore any questions on these topics. Infact theres probably 100s of examples he could have used when his own kids or grandkids asked heavy questions. For skeptics like yourself the constant stream of misinfo will have you fact checking senseless data that you instinctively know to be true or false based on observation, wasting your time. however when presented in the news or by aquaintences It challenges you to correct them, this is a job for a team of the same magnitude as the news stations themselves.

To answer your question, there are organizations that do fact checking but im also skeptical of those because who watches the watchers? How do they afford to exist? Do the fact checkers have bias themselves? Its a never ending cycle of bullshit.

I think we are giving them far too much credit. The article is written as if they are deliberately and systematically recruiting young teens. The reality is that these kids are looking for the unmodderated spaces where these sickos dwell. Ive litterally watched this happen and attempted to stop/ get these kids banned. But these teens genuinely think they know better and sometimes the mods themselves are sickos or children that think its okay to have shared spaces for people under and above 18. Minecraft(java), VR chat, Rust, any mmo, roblox, gmod, gta, tf2 im sure there are 1000s more. all games with minimal modderation. Agreed, Its barely a zelda game but regardless of how easy the puzzles were, they were fun. But yes there were too many and 100%ing the game was an absolute slog because of the similarity between alot of the shrines

“Combat was tedious” sure. If your bad at the game, alot of attacks are parryable and weapons and food are craftable. Even if i wasnt equipped to deal with a situation the enviroment always provides alternative ways to deal with enemies.

Breath of the wild definitely comes to mind. The combat and puzzles in that game are an absolute treat. The amount of tools they give the player is unlike anything ive played before, heres a decent clip as an example
