For now sure. I doubt the killer will get away with it forever, and even if he does, I won’t be shocked if someday we found out that it was just a hunter, who escaped into the local desert/woods/mountains whatever is near that town.

I have little faith in cops in general to do the right job, and with the amount of confusion, “We got him!” “No we didn’t!” “We got him!” “Also not this guy!” on the scene it’s not astounding that the shooter wasn’t caught immediately, at least to me anyway.

Nooot really? I mean I’m not gonna lie I haven’t really looked into the exact shooting here but 200 yards isn’t really that crazy of a shot. If you assume the shooter was aiming for the neck it becomes a bit of a crazy shot, but I bet they were aiming for the head or body.

I’m sure many people who regularly go hunting could land a 200 yard shot. Heck I bet if you gave someone a few weeks of practice in a range they could consistently land 200 yard shots.

I say this from a place where I actually have fired guns before, including things like Ar-15s and an assortment of hunting rifles. They’re just too easy to use.

Tragic, truly. I love cheese, have a whole section in the fridge dedicated to just cheese.

I know it’s kinda “basic” but fresh cheese curds go so hard, it’s unreal. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who can’t get them fresh, it’s a life changing snack.

Am I just too close geographically to Wisconsin or are y’all overplaying how bad our cheese is? Cause like I can run to the store and get some really incredible cheeses. There’s almost no ultra processed shit cheese in stores near me, in fact it’s basically just those Kraft singles and those are only good for “grilled cheese.”

Woah! BALL X PIT is shocking to me! This was easily my favorite second favorite next fest game I’ve ever played, just behind Balatro. The action is insanely cool, the combos are very unique and interesting. Loved every moment of it. Very curious to see how much the full game will have/add.

I tried a few flavors when they first came out and the only thought I had was “wow this tastes like pure sugar.” So I can definitely see why kids would like them. I’ve seen a few kids begging their parents for them in stores too, which is crazy to me, because it’s just a shitty energy drink/electrolyte drink.

Yes, I frequently cook for my family and I use it on steaks, roasts, whole birds, pretty much anything big or where temperature is super important. I don’t use it for chicken breast though as I tend to like that cooked beyond the recommended temperature anyway.
