Yes, they wanted to sell busses, tires, petrol and everything else surrounding the products GM (and the co-conspirators) dealt in. So they bought up and dismantled functioning rail services and replaced them with bus lines. Greed was the reason at the expense of the American people. Again.

I have three reps I call on the regular (but I think I might start to include my governor’s office too). They (the interns) don’t always pick up. Depends on call volume, time of day, or whether they give a crap. But I highly recommend 5calls.org They do help get some thoughts together based on topic and give you a statement you can read if you need to and they supply the phone numbers for your reps. I go off script all the time and am passionate, but I try hard not to rant.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen said Monday morning that he would take matters into his own hands later this week. Van Hollen, a Democrat representing Maryland, said in a statement that he had requested a meeting with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, who is visiting the White House on Monday, to discuss Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release from an El Salvador mega-prison. And if Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old Prince George’s County father, isn’t back by midweek, Van Hollen said he plans to travel to El Salvador “to check on his condition and discuss his release.”
