Sure, we agreed that I would get paid at least this much in our contract, but haven’t you ever heard of “going the extra mile”? Don’t you want to pay more than just the bare minimum? C’mon, be a team player!

Yeah, that’s more the reality. There are two major ISPs here, pretty much fiber or coax. There’s still DSL, but most people don’t have more than one twisted pair connection to the home, which makes it impractical with either having to install another for more than it’s worth or else suffer abysmal bandwidth. The cellular ISPs aren’t too bad, though. We got better bandwidth for the price than our previous coax ISP. I’d love to have fiber, but it’s twice the price for 10 times our current bandwidth. I don’t even know what I would do with that much.

That makes more sense than the ranch and pepper. I could see a more desperate version of my self take a shot of instant coffee and wash it down with some water from the showerhead.

Also, while I don’t keep it in the shower, yes, dish detergent is great for many things other than cleaning dishes.
