It’s great that the number of games playable on Linux is rising. But the lack of mods is stopping me from switching. I tried to play Civilization 6 and it’s hard to play it without many quality of life improvement mods.

Same for me, but starting with Morrowind. The leveling system was too weird, compared to other RPGs of that time. I remember I missclicked, fallen out of the window of some tower, got an Acrobatics skill improved and a level up.


I tried playing Witcher 2 when it came out, but couldn’t. It’s so immersion breaking when some parts of the map are blocked by some gates or invisible walls. When Witcher 3 came out I was hesitant at first remembering my bad experience with 2, but I loved it so much.


There are some minor downsides, you can’t walk 5 minutes in downtown Toronto without smelling weed. I can tolerate it just fine, but some people hate it. Otherwise it has been great.

My cat has the same ability to know when it’s time to feed him. When he comes to me and starts to gently tap me with his paw, I look at the clock and it’s 30 seconds till his feeding time.
