It’s no longer alleged, you have to admit guilt to accept a pardon.

This is going to be a disaster.

I’m not sure that’s really the take away. Its just that greening an area doesn’t always result in local benefits. But that evaporation will eventually come down somewhere. Upwards of 4,000 miles away.
If we all rebuilt historical forests we would all benefit.
It’s like if you’re a sewage treatment plant, the better job you do, the more you help people down stream, but it still doesn’t do anything about upstream problems.

Considering the rest of the casts reaction to House of Frangus in Starstruck, I believe it

I know what’s going on here, Okay, I do.

Taking the fluoride out of the water and putting it directly into your food.

The 600,000 estimate is how many actual recorded deaths THIS YEAR can be attributed to reduction in USAID.
So more than 600,000 people have died, only 600,000 can be blamed on MAGA.
The other estimates are forecasts, but the 600,000 number is to date. Says so in both the headline and the article.

Trump’s shuttering of USAid has a murder rate of 88 people per hour.
Of the 600,000 people who’ve died, 400,000 are children. These are mostly food aid deaths, we still haven’t seen the consequences of disease control ending (HIV, TB, Malaria, and others.)
They’re estimating 22 million death total by 2030. So this disaster is unfolding and accelerating.

I don’t see this mentioned anywhere, but what happens if thier auto approved permit requires running it through your house, or your farm field? Is it just auto immenent domained? Who, if anyone, compensates you?

Business math appears to just be algebra applied to money. The math you’re using to balance your books can do so much more than that.
That’s what word problems are supposed to teach you, how to apply the math. So you can critical think your way to awnsers to problems you aren’t taught specifically to solve.
I do think how we teach word problems can be improved, obviously, considering the amount of people who hate them and never get it. But teaching people how to use math for only money feels like a failure to me.

Yeah I agree.
I was already doing this for fun before the 2024 election. It suddenly got more practical than I’d like. I originally started it to stock a small free pantry, and now it’s stocking my own.
It’s also why I’m expanding it, because I expect even worse times ahead. If you can, I’d start one, because it’s better to be safe than sorry.
I’m on an urban lot that’s like 1/7 an acre. I just get full sun on nearly all of it, except what’s shaded by the house. (More than 4/5ths of it). Part of the reason I planted the trees was to shade the house. It came with 0 trees, now there are 9.
Most of my neighbors couldn’t replicate this garden even if they wanted to because they don’t get nearly the same full sun coverage. An east west road deadends into my yard, leading me to get morning sun hours earlier than my neighbors, and they have mature trees shading most of thier lots.

But I’m also probably going without health insurance next year because premiums went up 300 a month, and I fully can’t afford that.

I’ve managed to mostly keep my grocery bill down by buying more raw ingredients to supplement my garden and making stuff at home in bulk.
But I doubt that will continue now that the garden is done. I’m still waiting on the Trump Famine to hit since he’s been constantly fucking up the agriculture sector. I’m not sure what the timing of it will be, but he seems to be intentionally trying to bring back the conditions described in the Grapes of Wrath.
In my yard I’ve planted 7 fruit trees and 8 berry bushes. And I’m building 200 Sq ft of raised beds, and another 400 sq ft of non raised bed garden. (Right now I have 100 sq ft) And I’m still planning arbors to grow Kiwi Berries and grapes. And I’m building a chicken coop today for 4 chickens. But all that probably won’t sustain my family for 3-5 years when the trees and bushes finally start hitting fuller production.
I’m still waiting on gas and electricity bills to go up. So far gas is staying steady and electricity has only gone up 10% compared to the 20+% I’m seeing reported other places.

Imagine he dies of Jaundice within days of his Pardon by Trump.

Nissan Rogues from 14-17 have an issue where if you plug in a key programming tool and run it, the on board computer will just brick. This includes the dealer tool, not just 3rd party tools.
There’s never been a recall for this issue.
That is reason enough to never buy a Nissan for me.

Hope is dangerous, but only for the Fascists.
I got a 12% raise this year and I’m just drowning slower you mother fucker. 90% of that raise is being eaten by an increase in Health Insurance premiums and more than the rest in inflation.
