Humans are selfish. It just depends on what they’re selfish with. Me? I’m selfish with my time. Others, money, or labor, or any number or combination of things. Humans are good, we just can’t agree on what ‘good’ is.

I feel what’s more ridiculous is the notion that Americans are supposed to speak English exclusively. In what world does it make sense not to be able to communicate with as many people as you can?

I dunno about in the military, but I have a cousin that’s a veteran of the Iraq war and he’s a pretty staunch leftist. Claims his service opened his eyes.

Man, I’m on the spectrum. People aren’t my jam. Never have been. I’m not a leader, nobody has ever listened to me. I can’t organize anything, and I’m scared to death to actually meet people. I’m more scared to death that I’ll end up in jail, leaving my disabled wife to fend for herself. It’s hard enough to go to work every day. There’s no energy left.

They have been, you just aren’t hearing about it because they don’t want you to hear about it. People are fucking pissed.
