Until ur car runs out of gas one time when driving to work, cos 20 bucks doesn’t give u enough gas anymore to drive this far.
Time to get glasses
Why on earth would anyone be afraid of roundabouts? Like they aren’t even more complicated than traffic lights to understand.
I live and Western Europe, and ai have to wholeheartedly agree with you. I think a lot of people here are really naive, thinking toppling the US government is something you do on a normal tuesday or sth like that. I really feel with Americans who want change, but can’t do much because there are no social safety nets in the US.

In this shitty economy where noone is hiring and everyone is firing, having a job ain’t the worst.

World News@lemmy.world•European airports are facing a crisis due to fuel shortages. More than 40 flights have already been canceled in ItalyEnglish
3·11 days agoThere might be better transportation, but it is more costly. Just take germany for example, it is usually a lot more expensive to travel using long-distance trains than it is to travel by airplane. And not forgetting all the stress you get by travelling with the Deutsche Bahn cos their trains are literally only 60% of the time on time. And that’s not including cancelled trains, lol.

3·12 days agoActually it does affect them, but that’s the scary part, they still continue to support him although he actively makes their lives worse. I mean the increase in gas prices literally affects almost every adult, especially in the US, a very car-centric country, where you basically can’t get anywhere without a car.
