As some one who was also raised religious, I relate to this hard. Sex feels really scary, but at the same time it’s something I’m really curious about. Any tips for dealing with that feeling?

Real men cream in their coffee

I knew I regonized that structure. Read the caption you put and yep, I’ve been there. Absolutely awe inspiring piece of architecture.

After looking more closely, some of them do look AI generated. I still think the idea of the images is nice but it is annoying to see how it messes up the details.

More Frutiger Aero photos because I can’t stop thinking about how beautiful it is:

One thing about it is that it ain’t the most homely of aesthetics and architectures. It’s almost always in the context of a workplace, airport, shopping center, etc. In an ideal world I’d live in a mid century modern house and work in a frutiger aero workplace.
Edit: just found this really cool website https://frutigeraeroarchive.org/

Yeah, one thing that I’m not a fan of with some of the pictures that I selected is all the white. I like it better when there’s other colors and white is just the accent.

Frutiger Aero. This is what the future should have looked like. It’s a beautiful balance between nature and technology. I love the glossy, transpartent, rounded nature of it all. The colors are bright and fresh but relaxing at the same time.

I’m also a big fan of mid century modern. It does a good job at incorporating a natural look. On the outside, the buildings are usually low profile and blend into the landscape well. On the inside, there’s a lot of nice, quality natural materials like wood and stone that are used throughout.

Are you talking about radio.garden?
I don’t remember life without the internet. I was exposed to it when I was really little. Unfortunately it wasn’t that different from today. Was super corporate already at that point. It’s been cool to experiment with search engines that piorize obscure websites like Marginalia search to catch a glimpse of what the internet used to be like before my time.
Of course I’d do it. Lack of fingers would be an inconvience, sure, but there’s cool technology like 3d printing that I could use to get by okay. The inconvience is more than worth it for people to have basic human needs. Plus, with everyone having basic needs they’d be able to spend their time doing things that they enjoy and are passionate about. In all the population of the earth there are definitely gonna be people whose mission is to get people functioning bionic fingers that work like the real deal. I don’t care about people knowing. It would be more annoying if they did because then people would constantly be thanking me and receiving compliments is awkward.

I’d make a lot of paintings, learn how to animate, compose a gigaton of music, make a graphic novel, collect analog synths and various folk instruments, gaze at the stars, go camping a lot, make a garden of native plants, design my house to be optimal and asestically pleasing, read a lot of books, spend time with friends, host a server or two. And travel. Lots of travel but I’d do travel where I stay in one place for months as opposed to multiple in a couple of weeks so that I could really absorb the culture.
I hate to break it to you but in many parts of the rural US, Walmart is the only option to buy things. They have monopolized and killed small grocers, mechanics, and pharmacies. Walmart is the only place within a reasonable distance that I can get my (lifesaving) medication for a cost that I can afford. I hate doing it but there is literally no other option for me.
