  • The margin between them narrows every election cycle

Uh huh. And that’s why it’s imperative that we do everything we can to primary these fucks and get them out of office. But none of that fucking matters during a general election, which is what this chucklefuck failed to vote in. In the general election, you are presented with limited options, and you vote for the option that is better for most people EVERY FUCKING TIME. Doing otherwise puts you anywhere on the spectrum from a bad citizen to a complete monster.

Did you expect that it would work forever?

Do you think that I am in charge of the Democratic party? What the fuck are you blaming me for? You voted for Harris, too, you fucking nitwit.

  • Do you remember in the first Trump administration when he separated thousands of children from their parents, and then just kinda… lost them? One of the things that the Biden administration did was track down several hundred of those kids and families and reunite them. If Trump hadn’t have instigated that policy in the first place, those families would not have been separated and Biden wouldn’t have had to dedicate significantly more time to cleaning up the mess than Trump did in making it.

I get it. You hate the rightward drift that’s been encapsulating the Democratic party since Eisenhower. I agree with you. But you know what? They’re way fucking better than the alternative, and the alternative is what you decided you were ok with when you didn’t vote. So your bullshit justifications are falling on deaf ears here, because I don’t want to hear why you think it’s ok giving the reins to this fucking madman in the hopes that at some point in time, the lives he ruined will be made whole.

  • Just because the property is public doesn’t mean the public can do whatever they want in it

Yes, but what those people were doing was exercising their first amendment rights. It’s not like they were going around punching people, or shouting “Fire!”. And considering that they were there attending a town hall, it’s really hard to make the case that they were loitering.

People who are interrupting whatever is going on can definitely be removed from the proceedings.

I don’t know that that’s true, legally speaking. I am, however, ignorant of a great many things, and this is definitely one area in which I feel a profound deficiency. But just because people routinely get abused in this way by the police doesn’t necessarily imply that it is legal for them to do so. As you point out in your next sentence, cops use violence with impunity, and our justice system tends to look the other way when they do.

  • I’m not well versed in property law, but the article says that the rally was at a community center. Does that necessarily imply that this is public, rather than private property? And if so, what possible justification could there be for the police to violently subdue people for exercising their freedom of speech on public property? Legal justification, that is. The MAGAts would obviously cite their hatred for all things pertaining to American freedoms (save those directly to do with bearing arms) as justification.
