The margin between them narrows every election cycle
Uh huh. And that’s why it’s imperative that we do everything we can to primary these fucks and get them out of office. But none of that fucking matters during a general election, which is what this chucklefuck failed to vote in. In the general election, you are presented with limited options, and you vote for the option that is better for most people EVERY FUCKING TIME. Doing otherwise puts you anywhere on the spectrum from a bad citizen to a complete monster.
Did you expect that it would work forever?
Do you think that I am in charge of the Democratic party? What the fuck are you blaming me for? You voted for Harris, too, you fucking nitwit.
Is your problem that you think there are too many living Palestinians or something?
What? I get that you’re trying to paint me as pro-genocide because I voted for Harris (which is something that you did too, as you just pointed out, you genocide loving fuck), but that only makes sense if Harris would be worse than Trump in this area, and that’s a really hard fucking sell. So unless you’re just spewing nonsense because you like the way the letters look when you type them out, what the fuck are you actually trying to say?
I’m really trying to make sense of what you wrote, but you’re sort of doing my head in with your twisted logic.
Are you saying that because Harris didn’t pander to this idiot specifically that there is no reason he should vote for her? Because that’s really fucking stupid. You vote for Harris because she’s not fucking Donald Trump. Just like you vote for ANYBODY other than Adolf Hitler.
Is the problem just that you don’t think Trump is that bad, or something? Like… haven’t you read the news once in the last 8 years?
Do you remember in the first Trump administration when he separated thousands of children from their parents, and then just kinda… lost them? One of the things that the Biden administration did was track down several hundred of those kids and families and reunite them. If Trump hadn’t have instigated that policy in the first place, those families would not have been separated and Biden wouldn’t have had to dedicate significantly more time to cleaning up the mess than Trump did in making it.
I get it. You hate the rightward drift that’s been encapsulating the Democratic party since Eisenhower. I agree with you. But you know what? They’re way fucking better than the alternative, and the alternative is what you decided you were ok with when you didn’t vote. So your bullshit justifications are falling on deaf ears here, because I don’t want to hear why you think it’s ok giving the reins to this fucking madman in the hopes that at some point in time, the lives he ruined will be made whole.
You know what’s way better than rectifying a mess? Not making a mess in the first fucking place. Or are you going to try to convince me that Harris would also be building concentration camps and detaining American citizens, or planning out the condos America’s going to build in the Gaza Strip once Israel finishes leveling it?
“Kamala decided to do a rally in Wyoming alongside Liz Cheney so I decided that I would be ok with America electing a traitorous monster for a second time” is not exactly the flex you think it is, hombre.
I’m glad that you’re able to absolve yourself of the role you chose to play in electing a guy who’s building fucking concentration camps. See, me? I don’t think I’d be able to live with myself after that. But then I am not a complete fucking piece of shit.
Well thanks for contributing to the problem. Really happy you decided that you couldn’t be fucked to vote against a dictator. Appreciate you.
The removal and the police brutality are two separate conversations.
Yeah, that was more my point with my initial post. I understand escorting someone from the premises if they are causing a huge scene, but these cops violently wrestled these people out of there, even employing a potentially lethal weapon on two occasions. Many people have died over the years from being tased, and so to see it being used so wantonly is incredibly disturbing.
Just because the property is public doesn’t mean the public can do whatever they want in it
Yes, but what those people were doing was exercising their first amendment rights. It’s not like they were going around punching people, or shouting “Fire!”. And considering that they were there attending a town hall, it’s really hard to make the case that they were loitering.
People who are interrupting whatever is going on can definitely be removed from the proceedings.
I don’t know that that’s true, legally speaking. I am, however, ignorant of a great many things, and this is definitely one area in which I feel a profound deficiency. But just because people routinely get abused in this way by the police doesn’t necessarily imply that it is legal for them to do so. As you point out in your next sentence, cops use violence with impunity, and our justice system tends to look the other way when they do.
I’m not well versed in property law, but the article says that the rally was at a community center. Does that necessarily imply that this is public, rather than private property? And if so, what possible justification could there be for the police to violently subdue people for exercising their freedom of speech on public property? Legal justification, that is. The MAGAts would obviously cite their hatred for all things pertaining to American freedoms (save those directly to do with bearing arms) as justification.
I give far less of a shit about how much the program will cost than I do about the fact that we’re building and populating fucking concentration camps.
I did not think it was possible to miss the mark by this wide of a margin. Democrats are not my “team”, you fucking cretin. They are the non-fascist party. When you have a fascist running against a non-fascist, you pick the non-fascist. How is this a difficult concept for you to grasp?
