Dude no! Like a 15 minute time out is ok. But if they ask for water they should be given it. Locked away alone in a room without supervision for hours? No. That is not normal. At all.

Yeah, its a really crazy virus. If you get bit or scratched by a mammal, that you don’t know for certain is vaccinated, get the vaccine.

There’s even some evidence that it can be longer. I found one that was a 6 year incubation.

Honestly the best thing is to learn how to fall without getting hurt. And how to bail safely if you lose control of the horse. That’s some of the first things you should have been taught when you were learning to ride.

Best thing to do when falling is tuck and roll. Keep limbs from getting stepped on, get away from the horse, and prevent a hard landing.
