I tend to play PZ almost exclusively with the Week One mod, so being able to kit out a mobile base and then settle into a basement during the “final days” works quite nicely, and may also allow me to beat the plane crash incident in the days just before. Plus after the fallout (nuke or not) being to then find a basement after to settle down in gives the option of multiple bases if i live long enough, or if i decide to continue playthrough with another player in that instance if the inevitable happens.

Oh just one more mod can’t hurt… But now I’ll be able to watch TNG in the comfort of my own RV!

In this situation now, kinda. Known each other 13 years, been married for ~10 years (but “separated” for the last ~3), amicably divorcing around December, and keeping the ownership of everything the same, house is plenty big for us all. We came out to each other over the past couple years, and she found her true soulmate. I’m perfectly happy living on my own for once. It’s freeing, and we’re besties. We see ourselves paying off the 30 year mortgage, and then seeing where our lives go.

It was also truly novel at the time to use a secondary cartridge to enhance the first 3 games, injecting that unique echidna traversal into each one. Were there any other games that did that?

On the upside, the trailer for Mania was a real treat when it first dropped and it also got me to love Nitro Fun and Hyper Potions. I think I’ll jump back into it tomorrow 😁

My relationship with them was already in very thin ice due to repeated trust issues over the years, but what finally sealed it was my coming out to my dad and his response being “it’s all because of this woke generation”. Coming from someone who I thought had a very left leaning stance, therapy over the following years made me realize just how shitty and homophobic they really were. Turns out I’m probably more bi than gay (also ace), but it still stands.

Ditto for ETS2 / ATS. I don’t play them enough. With the Road Trip update coming out soon, it’ll be even better. I’ve been craving a solid driving sim that’s not racing. A leisurely drive through the Nordic landscape would be great.

Other than that, if I have the energy and wherewithal to stand, Skyrim VR, sometimes it’s nice to wander without worry.

We have this card game called Ducking High which is basically a bunch of stoner questions and philosophical inquiries and get your mind all goofy. It’s honestly even good for non-high activities, lots of good icebreaker topics.
