3·1 month agoI mean those are probably better ways to incite a civil war than by provoking protestors.
But what do I know

Like he’s antisocial/narcissistic knows his policies are unpopular, but still powers through because he gets what he wants anyway.
But the ego in his head has gotten be doing little shit that’s making him think: “I’m going to nuke this stadium when I get back to the office.”

And the kind of resistance they expect is still possible.
But you will never hear about it from a story. If you do, it’s probably false.

9·1 month agoHungry people can’t think. Hungry people can’t fight. Hungry people eventually stop being a barrier to power.
Same with the sick.
They really don’t have an end goal beyond that. They want to take what they please, and enjoy killing some people in the process.

politics @lemmy.world•Trump administration says states must "immediately undo any steps" to send full SNAP benefitsEnglish
71·1 month agoIt confirms my theory that they are desperately trying to implement the mass killing of people.
The political violence they wanted isn’t happening. The dropping vaccine rates isn’t fast enough. And now people aren’t starving as they should be.
That indicates to me that they are finding out just how hard it is to kill 268,000,000 people. It might have something to do with the fact that 268,000,000 are more than enough to keep themselves alive.

19·1 month agoSee that’s the thing with me.
To me, justice isn’t served until the institutions they tried to destroy are the ones used to punish them. It’s like the penultimate form of justice.
Yes. It’s for show. The end result is the same. But to the people, we can witness it, and remind ourselves that these institutions of justice and government are meant to serve the many, and not the few.
But part of me also really just wants to use thermite to cut through a big steel bunker door

161·1 month agoI’m more of a proponent on getting these criminals out of their bunkers, giving them a trial, then permanently sealing the bunkers after removing luxuries.
And unless there is something I dont know about the construction of these bunkers, they are never impossible to break into.

News@lemmy.world•As millions of Americans struggle with SNAP lapses, food banks are swamped with demandEnglish
3·1 month agoDepending on the org you are donating to, you should be able to at least deduct it from your federal and depending on the state, state taxes as well.
I was able to donate what my parents were doing over 1.5 years in a single donation that way.
I got a couple of big bills to pay this month, but after that and my pay check another big chunk is going.
Could I use that money? Sure. But it’s a relatively small amount compared to rent/alimony and still leaves enough for me to be stable.
My bigger concern is how long it goes on. I haven’t calculated in increasing expenses.
