People talking to themselves in echo chambers and making bold claims used to end up in mental asylums.

Let’s MAGA by bringing that back, especially for this mentally challenged felon.

He’s trying to normalise the idea of the US taking control of Canada. It’s utterly insane, but if he repeats it enough plenty of people will just switch off or subconscious accept that Canada “should” be part of the US.

We’ve all normalized that he is the leader of the US and represents all of America … whether America likes that or not no longer matters.

The fact that he is there doesn’t go to show how unhinged he is …

… it goes to show how unhinged we all are.

If more Americans were to better demonstrate just how much they do “not like it”, we might be more inclined to believe them.

Yes - but we will fight it. I will die Canadian than live a single second as an American.

It’s called propaganda and people fall for it. Most people are pretty gullible and will doom scroll beliing what they see or hear. 1984 shit.

I hate that you’re right. Normalization is the goal, but this is far from fucking normal. Even language like “51st state” betrays a wild ignorance of Canada and the U.S. procedures for admitting new states.

As a US citizen, Canada should not become part of the US.

It’s been 77 years since the US admitted a new state and almost 100 since we’ve raised the number of representatives. D.C. residents make up a large portion of the federal workforce and even they don’t have representation in Congress. Quite frankly, there’s no political entity in the US with experience bringing in a new state and all the logistics and legal work that it requires.

There is no path for Canadian annexation where the Canadians will be treated fairly.

I wonder where he got this plan from.

If he was really smart, he would start pressuring other countries to not refer to Canada as a nation, and start pushing other governments to stop direct interactions - but he already burned all of his bridges.

It’s exactly what Putin did re: Ukraine, and it’s his marching orders from his boss right now to make them not look as bad for doing it to Ukraine

I really doubt that it needs to be said a second time for the tramps and I really doubt that its gonna sound any better for normals even if it repeated a billion times!

Tramp exclusively replaced his staff with yes man, lest they would never let him do the tariffs…
