I would say it more like “forms of propaganda (lies) that extreme right wing parties are willing to stoop to that left wing parties are not”.

While I don’t disagree with you in principle, the reality of having only 1 political party after this also doesn’t look particularly good.

The war will be over only when Russia suffers a full, crippling, embarrassing defeat and not a moment sooner. This is and always has been the truth of dealing with Russia. To that end the maximum possible force should be used in order to save lives and damage to Ukraine.

I tend to agree. So far there hasn’t been enough taking sides for a proper world war to take place. But my fear is that with authoritarians in place in all the major world powers that we will just have the large powers conquering the small for the next few years.
